Yes, I agree. There are many causes of what may appear to be an allergic reaction -I occasionally develop one from handling ice- and pressure is one of them.

Interesting...pressure can cause this. I have seen rashed on bare skin from cuffs that were dirty (makeup, etc) from not being cleaned.

I have had reactions from BP cuffs. At first I thought it was the pressure. The nurse noticed it and said other patients had also had a reaction. This was prior to OP surgery the first time. Then the same reaction with my mammogram. Everywhere my skin touched the machine Including stomach and I neck had a reaction. Then again yesterday when I tried to donate blood. Makes me believe a desinfdctant.
