Bad circulation in my legs?

  1. How can i tell if I have bad circulation in my legs?

Just last night my legs, from my knees down, and my ankles started to hurt badly. It hurt no matter what position I was in, and they felt kinda numb. As the night went on, they got worse. Sharp pains, and numbness.

Today, I tried to not sit in ackward positions, like crossing my legs or indian style, or sitting on my legs or feet. My ankles were also kinda sore.....could I have bad circulation in my legs? How can I tell? Or do you think this is just one of the unexplainable pains we get?

    Thanks for your input,

    Kristi

Talk with your personal MD and get an exam. It could be something simple. It may not be.

Isn't this what you would tell one of your patients with the same problem?

This happens to me periodically, I thinks its a lack of potassium. If I eat a banana it goes away....go figure. Try it!!! Its always worked for me!!!

I'm with sjoe. You need to get to your doc. You didn't say if there was any changes in skin temp or color. Could be a DVT, neuropathy, etc. Some things could be dangerous, others just bothersome. So, ease your mind, and go see your nice doc.

Like Youda said, could be something silly and simple, and it could be something serious. Friendly nurse advice.... GO SEE YOUR DOC!
