I would like to see an Aussie section. It would save us from hijacking threads to post issues relevant to nursing in the greatest country in the world.

Don't the Canadians have their own section?

You could always ask? It is sometimes difficult to understand what the Americans are talking about as our terms are very different. Also our laws in regards to RCS etc.

I think we could ask brain re this - (oops meant to write brian there) - There maybe a number of people who have to be members to quailify - Maybe we could get more of our frineds to join - we all know the benifits - and this may mean that we might have some moer 'pulling power'
I know there is a place on this baord that l found ages ago (and havent been able to find since about number from countries)
Maybe we should do a poll
can come up with a lot of maybes
This would not mean that we wouldnt continue to contribute to all the other forums - as we all like to keep up to date with different things - but l do think that there are some issues that are percular to Australain nursing - - ie as Aussienurse2 said
Maybe all Australian nurses who contribute should put forward a vote -
Again with the maybes - maybe l should stop waffling

Hey... I am so glad that I was able to stimulate such conversation!!!!
I agree with aussienurse2.. we have such different laws and terminology. I agree with the intergration of different cultures to learn but I think that if we had an Australian / Australasian site it would educate those from around the world about issue that are important to us....
Enough seriousness... this is supposed to be fun isn't it!
Could Brian let us know how we can start a seperate Aussie forum? If possible at all?
Thanks guys....
P.S. I am thinking of all your Aussies being affected by those terrible bush fires... keep fighting!
