With the political reversal last night does anyone think that nurses might have an ear to talk to? With the current admin it seems that the hospitals could do no wrong, with the nurses being the problem.

Anything related to Democrat pushed 'health-care' reform will be radioactive and pushed off to '08.

And Hillary knows better then to touch that third rail from her 'career' again.

Not bad, but not good. Business as usual. I wouldn't count on any changes from a gov't perspective.

Oh sure, the ANA might get into a few more offices. And they might get the 'honor' of donating to a few incumbents. That's about it - a few more check writing coffee klatches for the ANA.

The main reason I won't join the ANA or the state association is because they are too political. That's fine for them, but I'm a nurse, not a politician. And I almost never like the candidates they endorse.

The Democrats will be just like the Republicans and like every other politician/lawyer. They'll be good for themselves first and foremost.

Im sure not much will change. But im really hoping the decrease in the federal student loans and PLUS loan interest rates will go back down now. That may be a feather in the nursing cap for all you students/parents of students out there.
