[QUOTE=wenron]I agree there is a lot of wack out there. But I'll bet that the number of FDA approved meds haved killed just as many.
At least the patients have some recourse. Hard to get justice from a supplier of 'hey we're just nutritional supplements'.

And isn't it funny that alcohol and Tylenol have caused many deaths and they haven't been pulled?
No one is selling them as a "cure" for cancer (And rheumatitis. And exema. And MS. And arthritiis. And acne, etc.)

I don't know that I believe the whole cottage cheese thing so fast either, but I will stil be willing to listen to folks.

People supposedly open minded to AltMeds suddenly become very closed minded when critics speak. I wonder why? Wouldn't you want to hear both sides and make a well informed decision?

I myself have not seen the deaths you talk about with holistic treatment and in my area, it's been wonderful. But, we all see things differently.

I guess the dead folks are having a hard time walking back to the office to purchase more 'remedy'.

Look, I am NOT selling cottage cheese and flaxseed oil...but thanks for speaking for me.

I think the best advice for studies would be as someone suggested here" have bev" show the reports and results. I think I will end this thread because I haven't heard one person who has tried it or knows of a pt who has tried it. I didn't open this to argue, I opened it to see if anyone had heard about it.

So, I will go back to those people who are "claiming to be cured" and ask for their records...thanks for the advice.

I am done with this one. I am waisting too much time and energy and we're not getting anywhere..but thanks all

Correction: If these people have weeks to live and unoperable cancer, what is some cottage cheese and flaxseed oil going to hurt.

Well, Budwig supporters are claiming (without proof) to have pulled 'these people' out of the hospital and cured them. Which is it? Harmless or cure?

Some of the harm that comes to mind immediately is loss of hope and trust, serious financial harm, and time wasted traveling around the country or the world in search of a cure when the small amount of time left a gravely ill person could be better spent elsewhere.

I'm sorry to keep beating this dead horse, but extrordianry claims require proof.

It would appear as though Wenron has bailed. But there is a question that has frequently occurred to me where alt med is concerned. Doesn't matter if it's hulda clark's theories, Johanna Budwig's theories, anyone else's theories that happen to differ from mainstream. Why the resistance to testing? If it works so well for these people, why are they so afraid of testing it? Why the almost irrational anger that comes in response to the perfectly reasonable request to reproduce results in a controlled environment?

I have my own theories, but they wouldn't make me any more popular.

    I didn't bail...just been buzy

Some lady named Bev swears by this, so I asked her to email me her records...that is what I am requesting for these high claims. She said she is going to scan them and then email them to me. She said she did not receive chemo or radiation and I believe she had stage IV cancer, but I could be wrong.

Another lady swears by it as well and just emailed me. But, she did have surgery and Chemo, so her report I am not interested in.

The Salve I use on my skin cancers isn't FDA approved and when asked why, they say it's because you need studies and studies would cost 1/4 million to get. I am not saying I understand how all that works and if everyone is telling the whole truth, but all I know is my skin cancer aint no more since I've been using this stuff for a couple years...and no, I don't sell it..but I tell everyone about it with a note- you can't claim a cure or treatment with a product that isn't approved by FDA, but you can share your testimony with anyone you want to. So, I won't tell you that it will cure you, but I will tell you it's found skin cancer that even the surgeon couldn't find (twice). I have pictures of my skin cancer surgical scars and then where the cancer started bleeding at the edges again...when I was told "edges clear"... and you know what you guys...?... I don't really mind if you don't agree, that's your choice to do whatever you want with your body. I am not an herbal fanatic at all. I am just trying to open my tunnel vision a bit to what God has placed on this earth for our bodies to fight and heal...that's all. I've seen my body heal with Penicillin, dust mite antigen (allergy shots) gluten free foods, fish oil for my triglycerides (along with exercise) milk thistle for liver enzymes elev, etc. So, I am not done believing that God just might have some better way to help fight our bodies with disease....maybe not...but I aint done keeping my eyes open either.

    Kevin,

Frequently, "Right" ain't popular, and popular ain't always right.

We love you anyway, you curmudgeon.

My mother started taking Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese after discovering she had Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. I took it with her, and was suprised at how much color it put in both our faces. After about a week of starting it we both had a beautiful rosey glow. I've read that Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese oxygenates the body, and this seems to be true. My mother's doctor was extremely impressed with her bloodwork while she was on Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese. He's been her doctor for 12 years and never seen her blood look better. She's always been nearly anemic! He said, "Keep doing what you're doing!"

My mother learned about Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese on this excellent website (www.beckwithfamily.com). She also read that you shouldn't take high doses of antioxidants while using Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese, but chose to anyway. She took vitamins, Cantron, and alot of other supplements. This messed her up and really worked against the Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese. Her tumors began growing again and her CA125 shot up from 149 to 3021 over 8 months. I'm hoping to convince her to try Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese again, but she's just so stubborn. I hope this information helps somebody reading it. I'm a believer in Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese based on these experiences, and I've been taking the maintenance amount of it daily.
