Thank you acaringnurse it has been a tragedy for our country - our population is very small - not quite 20 million - it is very easy to know of someone who has lost someone special - My thoughts go too to Grace who lost a good friend - See post Bombs iin Paradise thread - Today in my town there is a memorial service for one of the ladies who was just out having a good time - Her body hasnt been identifed yet - we also have to remeber the Balinese who were also killed.
So thank you for you thoughts - it has been hard to talk about for people - l think the loss of innocence is so hard to come to terms with - They were just having a holiday !
    Cheers

Thankyou acaringnurse, you are very kind

Tookie is right, this has impacted so many of us. I have been caring for some of the survivors and their injuries have been terrible.

Like Tookie said..people on holiday...like the World Trade victims were just ordinary people doing their jobs....

al-Qaeda....I wish none of us had to endure their despicable acts of terrorism

caring--you might want to check out the thread "bombs in paradise" on the war/terrorism forum, where this discussion, including Aussies, has been going on ever since the blast.

Your kitties look like one of mine...mine is long haired...face like a siamese...brown and cream. Beautiful cats!!!

Al-Qaeda's poisonous tentacles are reaching all over the globe and I pray allied forces will be able to stop their despicable acts of terror soon...now that the UN is understanding and agreeing something must be done I see some hope ahead!

God bless all survivors of terrorist acts...their friends and families. My heart goes out to everyone effected by senseless violence.
