ANA Standards of Care

Hi, I'm specifically looking for (if applicable) any ANA standards of care related to blood product infusion monitoring.

The situation is this: Patient recieving blood are often transported to other departments or diagnostics without RN escort but rather with unlicensed, high school educated transporters. I am trying to establish best practices and have already found standards supporting my position of RN escort (or delay transport until transfusion complete) from the Society of Intravenous Nursing and some recent articles from JCAHO.

Is there anything more general from the ANA? I've tried searching around on their site and haven't had much luck.
