It,s unreal! Been at current job for over a year. Been through 4 DON's. Been through 3 administrators. Nurses getting fired. Nurses quitting. Nurses CRYING! CNA's quitting, fired, angry! Keep being promised that "It will get better" "Please don't quit" So many things could have been prevented if we were staffed, appreciated, worked our schedules only, had guidence, leadership, etc.... I get called in EVERY DAY on my days off. Somebody has to draw the line somewhere. Fellow emploees have called "corporate" and nothing is done. We follow the "chain of command" and nothing is done. We had a meetting last week with the "new" administrater. Asked our concerns, our fears. The very next day...Very next day... it was the same thing! Residents are being neglected. Residents are being hurt. Understaffing. I sum it up in that one word. And nobody seems to care.

YOU must draw the line-Don't pick up that phone when they call you in on your days off.....If residents are being neglected and hurt due to staffing issues make an anonymous call to the state...You'll see changes.....

you only have control over what you do. Leave now before you allow the situation to drive you crazy. Sounds like this place won't last much longer anyway and the ones who stay the longest lose the most.

Form a union to speak for you. Corporate will start to listen if you speak as one. Otherwise they pick you off one at a time and always find a sucker to pick up the slack. IMHO
