    Although your right about the GERD meds. My insurance won't pay for more than three months of those meds unless you have tried all the over the counters first. So I am stuck.I really can't afford to pay for them out of pocket. As far as the Blue fingers go hey didn't say too much about that other than the blood gases. If it keeps happening I will be back in to see the DOC

    It's so sad that insurance dictates what may be in your best interest. Very sad, very common. You need to follow up on the blue fingers -- not normal. I still would recommend a vascular doc -- check for Bueger's and Raynaud's disease. If you smoke, you need to stop immediately. Do your fingers feel warm, cool; do your fingers/fingertips feel numb, painful, etc.? Please follow up on this.

    No I am not a smoker at least that is the one good thing going for me. I gave that up 5 years ago now! My hands and toes are usually warm, they get cold sometimes but then it's usally cold out when they're cold.
