4th Times A Charm?

I have taken and failed NCLEX-RN 3 times.. I know it's a horrible feeling.

The first attempt I failed miserably 75 and done. The worst part is actually thinking I passed because as you know 75 is the "golden number". I was so disappointed in my self.

2nd attempt, yes this is it I'm going to pass! this time I actually studied more and took it right away as soon as I was allowed. I scheduled it because the first time was just a fluke-I must have just been second guessing, something had to go wrong on the computer side of things. Is what my thinking was. NOPE! Sat down took a deep breath and began. 265 questions and 4 hours later I failed. The cherry on top of my testing experience was my fly was all the way down the entire time! I didn't even notice until I was on my way down back to my car, oh how embarrassing! 48 hours later with all hope and anxiety in my heart I learned I failed. Crushed for the 2nd time.

3rd Times A Charm right? Wrong! I honestly did not have any hope at all for passing this test . I still don't know why I took it because I was so depressed and disappointed that I gave up studying. I know it's my fault. I was so in my own head during this exam I kept thinking to myself " I'm not getting enough SATAs, I'm failing this exam" it was really no surprise when I found out I had failed because I had given up.

I finally had to tell myself "ENOUGH!" Ok you failed stop throwing your self a pity party and start studying and absolutely do not schedule that exam until you are ready to take that exam!

That's why I'm here I have all the apps and books from every nursing review there is but my question really is how do I study and really have this content stick? What really works? Is the Hurst Review worth the price? How do I pass this test and become a safe & competent RN?
