"Is there A difference in pay"

Nurses General Nursing

I was just wondering if there is a difference in pay,If you go to a community college or a University? I was wondering if there is a difference in positions you can get etc... Thanks much for your replys :D

No and yes. All new grads, regardless of where they get their degree, have to take the same exam in order to get their license. So everyone starts off as a "new nurse". However, some facilities pay more for BSN prepared nurses, some pay more if you work nights or weekends, some pay more if you work in hard to fill areas. After you have been a nurse for about two years you can get certified in your area of practice. That might be worth some extra pay. Or you can apply for the clinical ladder (assuming your facility has one) and earn points that get extra pay. But in the beginning most nurses earn about the same.
