Weights - ND tubes?

I have been researching the subject, but have not been able to find out much information. Do they use mercury as weights for Dobhoff and other ND tubes or do they use other, safer alloys, such as tungsten?

Don't know off the top of my head, but I know that they can go in the MRI...
