Something gross my instructor told me

Last night we had an otstomy nurse come lecture our class. She told us that one man who was homosexual had gotten an ARP ( rectum removed and sutured shut). Anyway, she informed the man's partner that anal sex will no longer be an option... and the partner asked if he could use the stoma for intercourse.

So how do you handle partner of a partner who gotten a procedure like this and asked this kind of question. ?
