right-sided constipation

by jbroo

I have a questions? Can anyone give me insight into right-sided constipation. Had a patient with constipation that was much worse on right then left side. Does anyone know why this might be. Her chief complaint was right lower back pain, @ iliac crest area.

Default Re: right-sided constipation
I have what you call "right-sided constipation." But I do have IBS and that is where the trouble starts with me. However, I had an infection in my colon one time after being in Mexico. Among the things I was able to read, my CAT-scan had a sentence in it that said "marked swelling of the decending colon." Hmmmmm?
