Do you mean Nissen fundoplication? It's a surgical procedure where the first part of the stomach is wrapped around the distal end of the esophagus and purse-string sutured in place. It forms a cuff of muscle around the esophagus to decrease or prevent gastroesophageal reflux in infants and children (typically). It also effectively prevents vomiting.
