Does anyone know where to find guidelines in regards to squirting alcohol through a scope after cleaning? I know some facilities do this...what's the rational behind it and who recommends it?

Check out SGNA website(www.sgna.org). Flushing a scope with alcohol promotes drying of the channels....less chance for bacteria to grow, etc
