I have a question for you. I have a personal problem that I would love help with. I am a young woman, eat an extremely healthy diet, exercise 3 days out of the 4 I have off, and am a critic care nurse on my feet constantly.
I have been trying to lose weight for over 3 years. I can't seem to get a good shape in and am so unbelievably frustrated. I went to see a gastrologist and he told me it was stress related. Can stress actually prevent me from losing weight?? Even with everything else I'm doing?
Any advice would be helpful

I'm sorry for your struggles but your questions are best suited to be discussed with your healthcare team who know you and your medical background. Perhaps talk with your PCP to see if there are other specialists like endocrinology or a registered dietician that you may need to consult with to help solve your issues. As per the site terms of service that everyone agreed to when signing up:"Medical Advice:ALLNURSES.COM, INC or it's members do not offer medical advice. Any requests for such will be taken down. If you have a medical problem, please seek attention from your health care provider. You are not allowed to ask for medical advice related to a health situation that affects you, a family member, or someone you know."
