EMR Kits

by aliciac

Our doctors are trying the esophageal mucosal removal kits for the first time in our out patient clinic. I'm a little nervous about this because none of the nurses and techs have used them before. We are familiar with snares and banding but this much mucosa being removed from the esophagus worries me. We are all ACLS certified and are prepared for the worse outcome. Am I freaking out for nothing? Is it that bad? Please help!!!!
