Diet prior to colonoscopy bowel prep

At the consultation, for my first colonoscopy (next week), I mentioned to the gastroenterologist that I had read it was a good idea to lessen food intake for a couple of days before beginning the bowel prep. The Dr. agreed and said to stop eating fruits and veg 2 day before I prep, but he did not say which foods would be better to eat (I know only clear liquids on prep day). Any recommendations for foods that would be best to eat prior to prep? I have a gastric band and no longer eat breads, pasta, rice etc.
