Clo Tests

by maxm

Could any one comment on how you record your CLO tests and how they get to the patients record. Who reads them and who puts the results in the chart?? I welcome any and all comments.

Default Re: Clo Tests
In our facility there is an endoscopy unit and a gi clinic. All biopsies are read in pathology, there report becomes a permanent part of the pts. record. Each Doctor's nurse in the clinic gets a proceedure report and pathology on every proceedure, every day. She reviews these with the doc. and if necessary sets up follow up appointment, or a reminder is put in the system for there next proceedure if needed, ( 2 weeks/1 yr/5 yrs. etc). Also if positive Clo the doc inititates treatment.
Hope this helps.
