    where are the # of posts? Frankly I think the star thing is silly and childish.

    Hover over the Stars to see number of posts. Click on the stars to open up any user info and see # of posts. Click on a name (any name) to see # of posts. Go to your account to see # of posts.

    but why the choice to hide it in the first place? What purpose does it serve AN?

    You can show this information all the time if you wish.

    Go to your account, options, edit settings, enable "show user information". The box for every poster will remain open all the time.

    If you don't want the user info box open all the time displaying this info, disable that. You can always open the box (as I stated in last post) by clicking on the Stars, the user info box will open and remain open until you leave the page.

    but that answers neither of my questions, so i have to presume that AN is getting something out of this.

    Faster page loading is the result of not having thousands of profiles constantly viewable that gives non-essential info --people come here to see thread topic or posts.

    With IT's recent tweeks, just need to move cursor over star section to reveal posters profile info, # posts and # liked posts.

    We hope you'll stick around and that with more use new format will grow on you. Yesterday, we had over 9,400+ members online at one time so need to adjust webiste to meet the growing need for professional nursing info.

    Could we get a list of the breakdown of the stars? Such as how many posts you need to reach the next star?
    Something like:

    Bronze:
    1 star: 0-A posts
    2 stars: A-B posts
    3 stars: C-D posts
    4 stars: D-E pots
    5 stars: E-F posts

    Silver:
    1 star: F-G posts
    2 stars: G-H posts

    etc.

    I ask because I feel like I've had one silver star for ages, and I'm wondering when I'll earn the next star.

    You have a lot of posts, and three times as many "likes" as posts, Ashley, and yet you have one silver star. I've seen people with very few posts that have three or five stars of some color or other.

    The mystery shall endure.
