I'm sure I know the current event thread to which you refer. I think you are still welcome to post in CE. I love to debate. And I've said some pretty controversial things in CE threads.

You just have to be careful and thoughtful and remember that non-verbals make up a huge part of communication and - because they can't be relayed in type, it means that misunderstandings are sometimes too easy.

But it's cool, those things go away in time. . . Just smile and keep your nose clean. LOLOLOL.

1000 is still a milestone worth posting about. And this IS still a great site.

You know, I just love it when I'm reading a thread and I want to respond to something and then I read down and you have just posted. As I'm reading what you have written, I'm saying to myself, "Uh huh, Yup, that's right. Yes...I was just thinking the same thing." However you have said it elloquently and very non-defensively and kindly. You can even dissipate agression toward you by the way you laugh it off in a non-judgemental way. Either you are very good with words and know how to talk well in most situations, and or you are just a really great person who can truly have a debate without anger and sarcasim. That's rare and I marvel at you and hope I can learn better to get across what I am trying to say and the weight it carries with it without using words that carry negative emotion. Thank you for being such a great example to me sir.
