Words of Wisdom...

This is off a stand up glass thingy I bought a few years ago in nursing school, it made me think, this is the kind of nurse I really want to be...

Nurse's prayer

As I care for my patients today,
Guide me Lord, each step of the way.
Send me your wisdom from above,
To perform each task with faith and love.
Help me give comfort to all I ssee.
Lord, I give my thanks to thee

That is so touching. It is short, sweet, and to the point. Thanx for sharing.

I might add that if I can't do a task each day with faith and love, to not get so angry that I sock someone with a glove... had to add that in...just came home from work and not everyday is a good day

Seriously, all jokes aside; a lovely prayer for a nurse. Thanks!

..... or smack someone upside the head with yer steth.. lol... ((bonk!))

Ok, so maybe the prayer should have been like this.

God, give me the strength and wisdom to help others, heal wounds and show compassion. Also too, please give me the courage not to choke the living **** out of the poor dumb bastards that come into my workplace and open their mouths and say stupid stuff.

Re: Words of Wisdom...

I would also like to praise the lord. I have just recently took the NCLEX-PN test and passed. I thank the Lord for all his help. Its a long hard struggle and I fear without him I would not have made it.
