hello nursing student here. No certain psychological/emotional issues shouldn't keep people from employment. But it depends on the nursing school you choose. When I started my nursing program, it asks whether you have been treated for a mental or personality disorder within the past 5 years..this is an emotionally demanding field at times and they want to make sure you are stable

See I wonder about this if they mean started treatment or this includes followup care ass if you've been diagnosed with a mental or personality disorder with some exceptions like depression most disorder orders require you to be followed for the rest of your life but being recently diagnosed and being stable and in treatment for years is 2 different things. Well I will find out soon as the school I go to has the physical done by their own doctor. CA BON doesn't ask on the licensing form from what I've been able to research.
