What should I do?

First of all, I passed the entrance exam to get into the PN program at LTC. Woohoo! But now I'm having a bit of a problem...I'm filling out the papers for the school and one of the questions is asking if I have or have ever had any physical, mental or emotional problems that might interfere with PN school or being an LPN. Well, I have ADHD. But I'm afraid if I put that down they won't accept me. I don't want to risk not getting accepted but I don't want to lie either. Any advice??? Thanks!

Re: What should I do?

I personally don't think it is necessary to put down that you have ADHD. Are you currently taking medication and have it under control?? My best friend in nursing school had it and she did just fine. Good Luck to you. I'm sure someone else around here will have some better advice.

Tell them! There are many who have ADHD. Plus, the meds will show up on the urine screen..... Good luck!
