What do I need to know about working with a staffing company??

I just got a call from Maxim staffing and I have an interview soon. What are the pros and cons of The pay seemed good and the location is just what I am looking for. I also have a job offer for long term, so I am in between the 2. Any advice would be great, I have no idea what I am going into next week Thanks
