Haha cute post. Good luck on the wait but I am sure you did well. Just curious why did you wait so long to take the test?

Re: Vocational/practical Nurse And Very Proud!!!!!

MOMto2boys - I didn't take my examination right away cause i feel like i didnt learn anything in school.(i am one of the lucky ones who made it to the nursing program after all the elimination rounds) ..and not only that, i havent paid my room rents for like half a year already so i REALLY have to get a job to pay off some of the "dues" then i found this job that was really easy and pays really good so i was kinda stuck at my new job for like 10 months.. hehee then, I changed my mailing address for the application of my ATT, and the boards never mailed that application form for like 2 months.. actually, they didn't mail it not until i called them. LIFE SUCKS sometimes.. hahhaa..
here i am.. still agonizing.. waiting for the result. like most people say.. either i did really really good or really really bad , since I stopped at 85.
btw, how long have you been working as a nurse?

Re: Vocational/practical Nurse And Very Proud!!!!!

Wow haha you did have a lot going on. Our school highly suggested that we take boards ASAP after graduating while everything was still fresh. I graduated in December and just took my boards on 02/08 & found out I passed on 02/09. I walked out of that testing center feeling like I was "the one" to bomb it at 85 but I passed.

I just got a job offer today for a Referral Coord. and has no hands on patient care but still requires a LVN license and I am going to try it out. I figure I can take whatever I learn here and only grow from it.

momto2boys.. so your computer stopped at 85 too??? right on!!! but good for you guys cause your state will give your result the next day.( jealousy comes into mind..hahha) meaning.. you did really really good... :hatparty: I can't wait to pass this "CALVARY aka NCLEX PN" . . well, i kinda preparing myself for the negative side..the "i think i failed" thoughts... my school too, recommends that we all should take the NCLEX sooner.. sooner the better.. one of my classmates took the exam one month after graduation and she passed.. (and she was the oldest in our class.. very very nice and smart woman) JOb offers? how cool is that.. no hands on patient care??? well. now you can grow your nails as long as you like...
