Well I finally took the Nclex today and feel very nervous and unsure. It seems when i walked away from the test I felt numb. The computer shut off at 85 w/ 1 hard question at the end and I was screaming in my head no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to answer more questions to make up for that bad one. The torture starts today until another 4 weeks before I get my results:biere:. The saunders Comprehensive nclex -PN helped alot .

Sounds like you passed to me, mine cut off @ 84 but, that was 8 yrs ago. Don't worry if your last ques was hard your chances are great. GOOD LUCK.

I had my exam two weeks ago, also stopped at 85. I am on pins and needles awaiting the results. Why oh why doesn't CA have the quick results available?!?

You are going to have to find something to do to ease your nerves over the next few weeks. Like I said, it has been two weeks for me and it feels like it has been an eternity!

Good luck and stay positive. I hear that 85 is good, but who knows??

I took mine a week ago today, and my computer also shut off at 85. I'm also from Calif. so the waiting is torture. I was told that it takes 3-4 weeks for the results so Scallywags, let me know when yours comes in.

i remember taking my nclex on april 2005 and the same thing happened to me. im a manly guy and i started crying my eyes out as soon as i walked out of the nclex testing center. i felt down for about 2 days and then results came in one month later i found out that i passed. soo i guess all im trying to say is that you shouldnt worry about it too much. just as long as you tried to best, you shouldnt worry.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement .My nerves today are a little better than yesterday.

Jelorde: Lol... I almost wanted to cry afterwards too, but the proctor asked me not to cry during or after was done with the exam

skallywag: I couldnt agree with you more.They should get with the program like the other states and get the quick results.

I took mine yesterday, too. I had pharm, pharm, pharm. At least it felt that way. :-) It shut off at 85 for me, too. I was thinking the computer was broken or something at first because it just went blue and sat there (which it had already kind of done a in the middle of the test for a few seconds).
ANYWAY, good luck to you. Sorry you CA people have to wait so long to find out. I should get my quick results tomorrow and I should be able to go to the website in NY next week to get my license number (if I pass).

I sure will. I am a nervous wreck waiting, but it will be here soon enough.
