Taking PSB test...

I have been out of school for 20 years and am now taking the PSB test on Monday...I have been studying for days and seem to struggle with math and science. Any advice for me...how hard is this test? I hear if you fail you can never take it again? Is this true???

Re: Taking PSB test...

Thanks for all those replies! I took the PSB test today and passed...WOOO HOOO...For those who have not taken the test and have questions like I did...I used the Nursing School & Allied Health Entrance Exams to study, as well as the PSB Practical Nursing Exam Secrets Study Guide from Morrison Media...and I also used a math tutorial online. I studied for two weeks..heck on 4-1-08 I had another career...and now I start nursing school on 4-28-08..What a country! Can't wait to begin learning.

Hi there Dardie,
I am planning to take the PSB test as well next month and I am out of school for more than 15 years. I have also bought the ARCO guide you referred to. I have 2 questions for you and will appreciate a response:

1) Is PSB for LPN is different from PSB for RN?
2) ARCO guide has separate study sections for PSB RN, PSB LPN and PSB Allied health. Did you study all sections to prepare of just the last section specific to PSB LPN?

Thanks in advance!
