Hi everyone,

I have a question. I would love to know what the scope of practice is in Georgia for LPNs. I've got to the State Board of Nursing for Georgia and tried to find it. I've not been able to. One thing I did find is a document that had a bunch of mumbo, jumbo.

Any suggestions on where to find this information in plain english?

13) What can I do as a LPN?
The board does not have a list of approved activities for Licensed Practical Nurses. You are encouraged to review the legal definition of practical nursing under the Official Code of Georgia Annotated Section 43-26-32(7) and the curriculum requirements for practical nursing programs under Rule 400-3-.07.


I cannot believe they do not have "approved activities for Licensed Practical Nurses" in Georgia.
