Ready to take NCLEX

I don't know if this question have been asked but how long do it usually take to hear from the Board of Nursing for testing???? I am being very impatient. I mailed my application & fee on July 5, 2005. I mailed my NCLEX fee off on July 10, 2005, and I have heard from them(NCLEX). I was told by the school that my transcript couldn't be sent off until July 29, 2005, but I'm sure they could go on and do my background check....right??. I just graduated yesterday and I'm ready to set a test date. Any idea on timing???

I can relate

I have been checking my states BON website daily to see if they have sent off my ATT testing paperwork. Nothing yet. I just graduated myself on July 29 and I am ready to take the boards, pass and begin working. Our Director of our nursing program told us it could take from 2-3 weeks after graduation before we hear something. I'm getting scared that the facility that is holding a position for me will give it to someone else.

I would keep in contact with the recruiter(spelling?), so they wouldn't forget about me. I would volunteer a day or two if I had too. At least you know what or where you want to work. I'm debating between VA medical Center, Dialysis and there is one LTC facility I'm interested in.

:)

I have been speaking with the Recruiter regularly, she's great. They just got a new DON for the facility and she has been cleaning house and making a lot of changes and it is scaring me.
