new grad

hi!i'm a new Lpn school graduate and would like to have some advice. I'm taking the boards on september 8 here in Virginia. any advice? I'm really nervous to the point that i get indigestion... and also, any advice about online nursing schools to get ur RN? which ones are good and are they hard?I don't have any pre- requisites under my belt...

Ah yes, Boards!!! terrifying, but don't be, we've all been there and have gotten through it alive!!! My main advice is the when you do practice questions make sure that you can restate the question in simpler terms! This shows that you know exactly what the question is asking! If you know what the question really is you can then answer correctly!! Don't study about 2 or 3 days before, give your brain a rest, eat well the day before and on the day of the test, nothing worse than to have a growling stomach, while taking a test!! Pace yourself while taking the test!! when I took it I found I was going too fast and I actually stopped myself for about 2min or so and took some deep breaths, boy did it work!! GOOD LUCK, dont let your nerves get the best of you!! KEep us posted!!

Thanks a lot! That will definitely help me out! And to think that ur younger than me... geez... I have to commend you on that... Are you taking Your Rns right now? See, that's my next step, but I don't have any pre-requisites yet...
