NCLEX test in one week from today!

I am so nervous and excited at the same time! I have one week to fully prepare, and I need some tips from you guys who have gone through it so far. I feel like sometimes I'm just going to crack under this pressure. Ive been reviewing mostly practice questions everyday. What did all you of you do one week before your exam and have passed?? I'm ready to get this over with and finally start my life as a nurse. I feel like Ive been held back for so long! Any suggestions???

Do as many practice questions as possible Its normal to be nervous. I cried on my way to the test. I have never been a great test taker but I did pass the first time. Stay positive. Best wishes.

Be sure to study the Saunders NCLEX practice tests, maybe Lippincott, too. Get a good nights sleep the night before, and know all your lab values. You already know more than you think. A lot of it is testing whether you will be a safe nurse. Know your medications. Try to relax as best you can. Remember to eat a light breakfast before you go in to test. Arrive early, and remember to take lots of deep breaths. I promise it works. HAHA!! Take your time, and you will have that license in no time. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re: NCLEX test in one week from today!

I got Mosby's online computer adapted NCLEX practice test (Mosby's CAT). After taking it a couple of times and passing it, my confidence was where it needed to be to focus on the actual test. It cost a few bucks, I think somewhere between 30-50??... it was a couple years ago... An excellent investment. It's the closest to the real thing you can get.
