NCLEX review book

Our school has required us to buy the Davis NCLEX PN review book. We've found several "bad" answers and were wondering if we should find another review book to use. We've talked with some of the instructors about some of the questions, and while they can explain the rationale, they agree the answers are bordering on wrong.

Does anyone have an opinion of this particular review book?

Thanks

Hi,
I'm not familiar with that book, we used Saunders which I thought was very good however I will say that in my very humble opinion some of those answers were "bad" also, lol. I figured I'd better just get over it and figure out where they were headed with their answers which I'm pretty sure helped me pass the boards the first time. Good luck, Jules

Re: NCLEX review book

Some good review books include Saunders, Kaplan, Lippincott, Mosby, and Cliffs Test Prep. Every review book will contain a few "bad" answers, but your critical thinking skills will get you through NCLEX. Good luck.

Re: NCLEX review book

Hey, thanks for the input. I may try to find a used Saunders or Kaplan, just to cover the bases, lol. We graduate in Dec and some of us like to get a head start on freaking out.

Be sure to check out the NCLEX Discussion Forum as well, where you'll find lots of threads about the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN.

Good luck to you!
