What's your specialty? In other words, in which field are you currently working? I'm currently doing LTC (long-term care) at a nursing home and have a PRN job as a medication nurse at a psychiatric hospital. I have worked in rehab, but it is not for me.
I was the Care Coordinator for a dementia/Alzheimer's Unit in an ALF until I changed jobs recently and now work the nightshift at a LTC/skilled care facility with an Alzheimer's unit. So I work the whole facility as charge nurse. I would say alzheimer's is my specialty though. Love it!
I work in Ambulatory Care (a clinic setting). ALso, I just recently signed up to work at an agency as a flu nurse. Will just give flu shots all day long until the end of November.
