Lpn With Simple Assult Charges

I know an student that is class with me that has just ben charged with simple assult which is not an felony charge is this going to jepordize her licsening?

No way to predict that, STRESSED SPN.

She will have to contact the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and ask that question. If she graduates, she must be honest with the BON. Then, the BON will decide whether to license her.....or, not.

These cases are decided on an individual case-to-case basis and then collectively decided upon by the BON.

Wether or not the BON decides to liscence you or not i was always under the understanding that in some states if not all you cannot work in health care or at least in long term care with any type of violent crime charge, Now in Pennsylvania SImple assault is not on that list of disqualifying crimes Only Aggrevated assault is, but i believe in some states simple assault is one of the crimes
