LPN's in the ER

Are there any other LPN's in the ER setting? I am one of 3 soon to be 8 LPN's that work in the Emergency Department. I am part of an Express Care/Fast Track setting working with ARNP's. We are getting ready to increase our LPN numbers by adding LPN's to take care of strictly psych patients that come to the ER. Just wondering how other LPN's work in the ER setting.

I work in a trauma center but rarely work on "fresh" trauma patients. While everybody else is running in to see what is happening with the new patient, I care for the others and get them shipped up to the floor. I also am primary for our hallway patients. We don't get very many Psych patients. Those rare ones we get we end up having a sitter watch or security stands guard at the patient door. Good luck!
