First of all ,congratulations on taking this big step!!
It can be done, i promise.. I was an LPN for 18 yrs before I went back. ( kept taking classes one at a time till my advisor said i had exhasuted all options but the clinicals and nursing classes.
Most important step is organization . Get a binder. and some index cards. Make flash cards of important notes from the lecture. keep them in the binder for when you study.
Highlight as you read. Read it once before lecture then after ... it will make more sense to you.
get involved in a study group. mine met weekly or more often. We outlined every chapter and note and rehashed. amazing how much you dont recall on your own.
Leave some time for yourself and family. I had one day a week I declared a no study day... it refreshed me enough so that I could persevere. I also limited intense study to an hour at a time and then took a break and did something around the house... so it didnt fall around me!
Just my

good luck!!!
