Re: LPN/LVN Additional Certifications

I am an LPN working in a nursing home in Iowa. I oversee the restorative department. There is a confrence in August offered by Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN), I would be able to attain the CEU's but not certification because I'm not an RN. Does anyone know of any certifications for LPN's in Restorative? Any insight would be appreciated, Thanks

Re: LPN/LVN Additional Certifications

You can go to NFLPN to register to take the Gerontology Certification. I take it tomorrow at my place of employment. Call them or e-mail them though to get a list of what you will need to send. I went back and forth a few times until I had sent all they needed. Copy of LPN liscense, proctor,ect... Pray for me to pass tomorrow. I've been studying like crazy and I'm so nervous!
