I took my boards at 8AM yesterday. Was home by 8:50am and cried te whole way home. I just knew I failed. I think I went stupid because I could not even remember the conversion of oz. to mL. I just knew I could not pass when I failed that question twice.

At 9am this morning my license number was posted!!! I am a LPN!!! I ave wanted this for so long. My daughter has been telling everyone that her mommy is a nurse, she is so proud of me My hubby thinks it is just the best thing! I cant ask for anything more, except maybe my RN

Anyway, just so happy to say I am a LPN! Can I join the cool group now?

I take my exam NCLEX PN this Firday...any tips about the new exam? Also, how did you get your results so fast? Everyone tells me I have to wait a couple of weeks. Do I receive an envelop in the mail telling me my results? Is it like college....big is good, small is big?

Tip??

Okay, hmm... tell yourself you CAN do it! Know your labs, vitals, prioritizing and meds. Try to know your classes like Cardio-glycosides, fungals, antidepressents, etc. Oh and know your conversions

Here in Indiana, we can pay to get out test results 2 days later, I think its like $10. But if you go onto our state licensing website you can pull your name up and if your license number is next to your name YOU PASSED!! Mine was there at 9 this AM. I had my hubby check because I was too scared to look at it.

Here in PA, you can pay something like $8 and get your results in a day or 2. But if you wait and check state board license verification, look up your name, you passed if you see a license #. And that's free
