The NCLEX can be taken anywhere in the world.

It is best that you obtain licensure in Arizona and then endorse the nursing license into California. After all, California is notoriously slow in processing and issuing LVN licenses.

I completed a Southern California LVN program in October of last year, and my school sent my paperwork to the California BVNPT on the day of graduation. I received my ATT on November 21 (5 weeks after graduation) and finally tested on December 28. I received my passing result in the mail on January 9, then had to send the California BVNPT an additional $100 check before being issued a license on January 20.

I completed the LVN program on October 14 and did not obtain California licensure until January 20. If you do the math, it took over 3 months for me to be issued the LVN license. I am sure that the licensure process in Arizona does not consume 3 months of the applicant's time.

Are you taking NCLEX for the Arizona board of nursing? It doesn't matter where you take the NCLEX. You can take NCLEX in California for the Arizona board of nursing. There is no point in driving to Arizona to take NCLEX when you can take it in California near your home.

I took my NCLEX in Texas for the California BVNPT.

My main point is that it will take a very long time if the results are processed by the California BVNPT. You can take the NCLEX in California for the Arizon board of nursing, endorse your Arizona license into California, and be done with it.

It DOES NOT matter where you take the NCLEX.

As long as you take the NCLEX for the Arizona board of nursing, you can take it in California and the results will post in 24 hours. As I previously stated, there is no need to drive to Arizona to take the test.

Are sure? i Don't think so. i think the Nclex system is slow in their system, is like MVD can u go for Drive licence they send it by mail in 2 or 3 week. In AZ they give the Drive licence as soon they finish taking the picture, right there in a minute. but if is true it will be nice, so i don't have to do the driving is so stressful.
Thank u
