I am a new grad in LTC (Medical). Very heavy care. Some need to be fed, others need supervision when feeding. Most are bedridden or are transferred to w/c using overhead lifts, etc. I need suggestions as to organizing my day - I do not know a lot of the residents by their name and there is not time at the beginning of the shift to look through Kardex, etc. I don't know my assignment until I arrive in the morning. I will be caring for 6-8 residents. Any suggestions I will be grateful for.
