NAPNES offers a CLTC certification (it is in LTC, it replaces their old Geriatrics cert.). Does anyone know of any LPNs who have this and how it has affected their hourly rate, if at all, or their employment prospects? Is anyone's employer encouraging them to get it? No enthusiasm from my employer except to say that "we encourage our nurses to take advantage of all possible educational opportunities that would benefit them and our patients." At least they had heard of it. NAPNES also offers an assisted living cert.
