No you can't challenge the RN boards. I'm a new grad who did the LPN to ADN bridge program and while it isn't insulting to me at all because I'm sure you have more knowledge than any of the brand new RNs that haven't ever worked but imo its one of those things where you have to pay your dues when it comes to licenses and academia. The bridge programs really aren't that difficult, imo, mine was a short summer bridge class and then 2 semesters that cost less than $3,000. We all have the opportunity to find a decent paying job as LPNs, even if it isn't our first choice, that will work around school hours for that short amount of time so I think it is doable if you are interested.
