Certifications IN CT

I just graduated from LPN school here in CT. I'm interested in getting IV certification but I would like to know how much more that opens up for me job wise. Basically what tasks does it allow me to perform in CT. Is there a difference between phlebotomy and IV certification? If so what would be better to get?

I also was wondering if anyone knew of PICC certification? WHat is the difference between this and IV? There are just some many types of certification I'm finding it hard to distinguish between them.

Finally if anyone knows anything or any good websites that explain forensic nursing and course requirements please let me know. Thanks to all who read and all who reply. I greatly appreciate the help
