Sorry but if you move from one Compact state to another you have to give up your first compact license and obtain a license from the new compact state.
Ex. I hold a Compact license from the State of Maine. If I move to S.C., also a compact state I have to obtain a S.C. license.
I can still work in Maine but I will be working there on my S.C. compact license.
Your compact license has to be in your state of residence.
BTW good luck to the OP. NJ is not a fun state to deal with as far as their BON is concerned. They have been in and out of implementation for compact status too many times.
