Last night DD#1 gave DD#2 (AKA the Demon) a cookie that is loaded with sugar....in fact, by the time I found her it was her 4th cookie......the recipe calls for 1 cup of brown sugar per 1 cup of flour....maybe that's why they're called Brown Sugar Cookies?
Anywho........I told DD#1, "She's sleeping with you tonight."
This morning I opened DD#1's door to gather up DD#2 to get her ready for daycare.
*thump* The door only opened about 2 inches.
Tried again, more gently, thinking I could push the obstruction away with waking anyone. Nothing.
Suddenly I looked down and saw some hair spread out on the floor by the door.
I thwacked the little one in the head with the door.......
Is she ok? I'm assuming she is if she drank kool-aid.
No, don't think it's abuse. I view abuse either as negligence or intentionally harming someone. I don't think your description falls into either catagory.
I had to wake up the big one without waking the rest of the house, so here I am whispering loudly....."WAKE UP!!" Got the little one, got her in the bathroom to get her ready and she looks up at me with accusation in her baby blues......"Mama, you hit me!"
Sounds like an unintentional accident to me, Tazzi.
you just got to hope she doesn't tell the daycare folks; "Mamma hit me!" You might receive a visit from the child protection unit! lol
Hope her sweet head is ok.
