Today I received a email from one of my girl friends who remind me again why we are soo happy and free and i would like to share with you, I hope you could understand what means to be happy and free on Zuzi's perspective, is a personal writing based on what I readed, soo blame only Zuzi! LOOOOOL
You could be happy because you can see and know the difference. Because all our life we pass the exams, because we listean Metallica and Ace of Base and DJ Bobo and Back Steert Boys and Take That and we know also Abba and Queen and nobody asked us why we listen this type of music or if you are different for others. We accept each other as we are. Because we drank all from the same juice bottle and we dind't have scare that we could catch a virus from our friends, because we share togheter the same cigarette at the corner of hospital in only 5 minute realese beetwen two hard surgeries, because we didn't have "lunch time" but always we ate toghter, because "morning coffe" was a ritual and neither the president wasn't allowed to interupt "the team" to share the lasts day's and night's news, change shift was for EVERYBODY our half of hour when everybody MUST to know eveything about what was happening in the last 24 nursing hours . Because people talk with people on the front. Because NO means NO and Yes means Yes. Because a hard time for me was a hard time for my team and a hard time for my team hurt me like a heal also. Because we had ONLY one lider, One boss, One rule, and we loved him so much.... (hugs Steph) . Because we was one for all and all for one!
We didn't gave each other bips on cell and neither the messages, we wistle each others to come out or knocking on the door, or send somebody to annonce that we need him NOW! And anybody didn't said no or was in late more than 10 minutes, any time! Because we didn't have overtime and people work still!
We didn't teasing, bulling, stabbing on the back or these type of staff each others because all of us we worked so hard and we didn't have time to do it, but we hugs each time when we meet, and laugh and cry togheter because we knew how hard is our nurses life. Because a night out with my girls friends was just for fun and we carry each others if our legs was too soft, loooooool. Because if sombody hurt me , hurt my team and if also they try to atack my team are my enemie. Because a team means ALL of us and if you hurt only one of my CNAs you hurt me and my team but also if my boss is hurted you will talk with us "the team"! Because in my time we blushing when we talk about "sex" and to go in pharmacy and buy condoms was a courage action and always I bought enough to give and others also, loooool
We didn't have helmets or car seats, we kiss all cats and dogs from our nieghborhourd and we are survived. My mother and father didn't had "child proof the house" and I was sent all over....loooool... to catch life experience....looooool. And I knew lots of different people, thanks God!
We was the first who heard the guns shouts and probabbly couple of us we had a friend killed and couple of us we was ...there...on the heal and survived! We was so restlles and crazy and happy and free.
We are a genaration of winners, dreamers and "first-timers".... for this I am free and happy and I would like to keep my freedom and happiness as it is!
