Not too often that I'm the one to start the GM thread.

jnette I hope your daughter can find some relief

Got clinicals today, so I'm up early. First real clinicals of the quarter, so hopefully it will go well; this early in NS you're not sure how well you'll handle being on the floor. I'm sure that by the end of the quarter I'll be much more confident of my skills.

Nothing else planned for today except for more studying, considering I'll probably be exhausted by the time I'm done. Hope you all have a great day!

Joe and all that follow,

If you are out and about today and the weather changes please do take care. I love that pic above but to be honest this is what I want to see when my peepers open tomorrow morning >>>>>>

I took this photo on my very first winter here. I was like a pig in mud out playing and hubby took me in his 4WD to go take a gazillion and ten photos hahahahahhaa... What is it about snow that makes me feel like a kid? Don't answer that LOL

Shall park one of our vehicles in the garage down the bottom of our driveway so I can get out if the roads are cleared! Hmmmm NC are not as consciencious as VA in road clearance! Oh well

Hmmmm checked all winter supplies in the house and in my car just in case. I really do need to get a bigger flash light though!

So come on where is every body???

Wake Upppppppppppp...

Well I need to get on my bike and get moving here so I will try to catch up with you later on.

Wishing you all a wonderful blessed day.

Oh Netters I do hope and pray your DD is feeling a wee bit better today. If she is bored and has email I would love to 'chat' to her. That would be enough for the sciatica to leave for good hahahahahahahaha. Tell her to hang in there for Gavin's sake.

Tooooooooooooodles one and all.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh how cute.

Re: Wednesday Jan 16th 2008

Good morning peeps.

Thank you for the well wishes for dd. Getting ready for work, and will meet dd halfway and deliver her walker. Poor girl. Told her I'd come after work as I know its difficult for her to drive as she can't sit but a few minutes at a time, but she was adamant about getting that walker ASAP.

I'll go spend the day with her on Sat. and see where I can help out.

As for the snow.. Sabby.. TOMORROW the big snow is coming ! Get out your snowsuit, mittens and your sleds, wax those skis, and get ready for some fun making snowangesls!!! We want a pic of your snowangel!

Joe, you have a good day today.. Sabby, you be careful out there.

See you all later!

Happy birthday Karen, hope you have a wonderful day

Oh boy snow!! I cannot for the life of me imagine why you would choose to live somewhere that snows. I do not believe in the cold, I only like to be where it is hot

Hope you go well at your clinicals Joe

Well it is 11pm on wednesday night here, my day is nearly done. I'm not doing too well at the moment. I have finished uni and am meant to be starting a job as a RN on monday, but my registration with the Queensland Nursing Council, has not come through yet

I sent the paperwork off at the end of Nov, I finished uni on the 14th dec and the uni sent the lists of graduates off on the 20th dec..... I am the only one that I know of out of my year level to not have their registration through yet. I have become very stressed and am getting rather depressed over this......Just not fair *whinge whinge*

I am taking 3 of my kids to Australia Zoo (Steve/Bindi Irwins place) tomorrow. So am hoping that will help to lift my spirits a bit, or at least that I can fake it enough so the kids enjoy themselves

Have a good one folks

Re: Wednesday Jan 16th 2008

Good morning,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!!! have a great day, birthdays mean no laundry don't forget! Snow came here yesterday but not too much, 5cm I think. Had a lovely night's sleep finally, had been up since 6am on Monday am, not sure how I was still functional at 9pm? Actually drove the kids to their soccer game and cheered them on without passing out on the bench. Will try to nap today and back to work tonight. Hockey tournament starts tomorrow night and on into the weekend, probably wrong but I hope the team doesn't win too many, or we will be at it till sunday evening. Bad mother, bad mother. Well off to round up the kids and snowpants to get them ready for school, have a great day everyone, drive safe those out on the snowy roads. I never worry about my driving, it's everyone else around me. Beware of "hats", old people behind the wheel who don't shoulder check or do the speed limit.

Good Morning Joe, Netters, Sabby, and others. I got up at 6 so I could go out in the 20 degree weather, drive 45 min into the country so g-babies don't have to get up and get out in this.

Nettie I sure hop dd is feeling better

Joe best of luck with clinicals today

It's a chilly 19 degrees here this morning. We're supposed to have a winter storm tonight and in the morning. Hmmmmmm...we'll see.

Netters....I hope your dd is able to find some relief.

I'm getting ready to go to the dentist......just a check-up and cleaning, No more root canals......I hope!

Hope to check back in later.
