It's a day off for me. My little one is having her 3rd birthday portrait taken today (tomorrow.....it's still the 17th for me!) and we're spending the day with Grandma.

Today's my older brother's bday, he's 49. Hmmm, I'm 48 next month (gulp), maybe it's his 50th! sigh...

Got to sleep but with this stupid cold - by doze is all plugged dup and I'b coffig ed sdeezing ... CHOO!

Maybe I will call off my 2 appts in the am, we'll see. I hate to cuz I am such a wuss when I am sick ... and I really hate knowing I will still have to go ANOTHER time...

For a while I was getting my son's portrait taken every year - the last one I have, he was about 16!!! I do have some snaps of him - but it's not the same.

One pic he has bright yellow hair! He did it himself, he was around 12 I think (ordinarily dirty blonde hair)

In his 15 year old pic he has bright blue hair! I was the culprit who did it - well it was better than DRUGS!!! Now, he looks rather normal. He even wears clothing that isn't black. Amazing.

See what you have to look forward to? (it sounds like you have a nice day planned!) ...

GOOD MORNING, LITTLE PEEPS

Hi,
I'm at work-we're full tonite.
I have such a bad cold &/or sinus infection; I was going to call off tonite; I laid down at 4 PM & said to myself, well, I usually wake up about 6 PM, so If I still feel as bad, Ill call off;( I felt that 4PM was a bit too early to call); well, would you believe that the next thing I know, I'm waking up & it's all ready 2130???????????????? Well, of course, that's WAY too late to call. We have to give at least 4 hr. notice before the start of the shift or you don't get paid your sick time.
So, I'm here & I feel LOUSEY!! Oh Well--My Fault!!

I haven't read yesterday's thread yet. I was off.
DH took the car in--needed brakes and also the fan stopped working; So they fix everything for a WHOPPING bill. Tonite when we came out to go to work, none of the dash board lights was working!!! Can you believe.
So DH will go back in AM.

Busy here at work; They did leave addequate staffing tonite, tho.

Well, better get going.

Beth hello & good morning!!! Is it pretty cold down your way??? It has gotten awfully cold up here tonite. We have VERY LITTLE snow on the ground--Did you get much???
